Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated July 25, 2026 This Refund and Cancellation Policy for ADITYA KUSHWAHA (doing business as MemoryOS) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) explains how cancellations, plan changes, and refund requests are handled when you use MemoryOS and related services (the “Services”). MemoryOS provides digital software, API, dashboard, and memory infrastructure services for AI products. Because our Services are digital, there are no physical goods to return.

1. Digital Services

MemoryOS is a digital service. It may include API usage, memory storage and retrieval, extraction jobs, dashboards, domain schemas, Memory Passport consent flows, and related developer tools. Returns do not apply because no physical product is shipped.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans may be billed monthly or yearly depending on the plan selected at checkout. Plan prices, usage limits, included features, and billing frequency are shown on the pricing or checkout page before payment. If online payment is enabled, payments may be processed by Razorpay or another payment processor. We do not store full card numbers or complete payment credentials on our own servers.

3. Cancellations

You may request cancellation by contacting us at support@memoryo.dev. If self-service billing controls are available in your account, you may also cancel from your billing or account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation does not automatically refund charges already paid for the current billing period. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete stored memory data. You may use available dashboard controls or contact us if you want to delete supported memory records or request account/data deletion.

4. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. However, we review refund requests case by case. We may approve a refund where:
  • A duplicate payment was charged.
  • There was a billing error or accidental overcharge.
  • A paid plan was not provisioned because of a MemoryOS-side issue.
  • The Services were materially unavailable due to a MemoryOS-side issue and no reasonable workaround was available.
  • A refund is required by applicable law.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Unless required by law or separately agreed in writing, we generally do not provide refunds for:
  • Free plan usage or exhausted free quota.
  • Unused time after a paid billing period has started.
  • API usage, overages, or compute already consumed.
  • Incorrect integration code, customer-side configuration issues, or customer-side outages.
  • Loss caused by exposed API keys, unsafe key handling, or unauthorized use caused by customer systems.
  • Abuse, quota bypass, disposable-account usage, fraud, or violation of our Terms and Conditions.
  • Custom implementation, migration, consulting, or support work unless separately agreed in writing.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@memoryo.dev with:
  • The email address used for your MemoryOS account.
  • Your workspace or organization name, if applicable.
  • Your invoice ID, payment ID, or Razorpay payment reference, if available.
  • A short explanation of the issue.
We may ask for additional information to verify the account and payment before processing the request.

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible. If the payment was made through Razorpay, the refund will be initiated through Razorpay or the applicable payment flow. Refunds may take approximately 5–10 business days to appear, depending on the payment method, bank, card network, or payment provider. We do not control bank or payment-provider processing timelines after the refund is initiated.

8. Downgrades and Data

Downgrading a plan may reduce usage limits, feature access, retention, or support level at the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated. Some features may become unavailable if your workspace exceeds the downgraded plan limits. Memory and account data are handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention practices.
